Welcome to RefNow!
Here are a few things you should do to setup RefNow so it works best for you:
- Contact us to arrange an onboarding/training meeting of the platform (if you haven't already had one).
- Create your Teams. Teams help organise users within your organisation and control visibility of reference requests. Each team typically represents a department, location, or hiring group (for example HR, Recruitment, or Compliance).
- Invite more users. Once teams are created, you can invite colleagues who will be requesting or reviewing references by creating Users. The first account set up in RefNow is assigned Super Admin access. This level of access should only be given to users responsible for managing billing and overseeing all reference requests in the platform. Find out more about User Permissions here.
- Create Question Profiles. Question Profiles allow you to define the specific questions that referees will be asked when completing a reference. This is particularly useful if different roles or departments require different reference information. By creating multiple Question Profiles, you can select the most appropriate set of questions each time a reference request is sent.
- Create a Test Reference request by entering your email in the New Reference Request box, and using your email address as the Referee email too (That way you will see the whole RefNow process).
